Social responsibility
Responsibility, security and sustainability are the central columns of the KERN Group. In order to fulfil our social responsibility requirements, we have committed ourselves to participating in independent initiatives and certifications, which evaluate us regularly according to international standards.
The following is an overview of our commitments and participation:
MT Melsungen
Since 2016 we have been official sponsors and training partners of the federal league handball team MT Melsungen At the same time as supporting a positive approach and sustainable growth in the region through our financial commitment, we also support new international players with intensive language training, and through this promote their quick and comprehensive integration.
Clementine Children’s Hospital - Dr. Christ’sche Stiftung
For more than half a century, we have made a donation to the Clementine Children’s Hospital - Dr. Christ’sche Stiftung in order to directly support the hospital’s work, which prioritises families and their youngest members. As a family business, the financial support of this establishment is particularly important to us.
United Nations Global Compact
As part of the "United Nations Global Compact" initiative, we are committed to aligning its business strategies and activities with the ten universally recognised principles of the Human Rights Act, working standards, environmental protection as well as the fight against corruption.

As part of EcoVadis we were able to convince with our commitment to the four assessment areas of environment, work, fair business practises and sustainable purchasing behaviour.
