KERN AG Training then designed competence training as an initial project in close cooperation with the customer in order to curb the dangers of excessive workloads through more effective self-organization and to provide employees with various skills for more efficient day-to-day management.

The initial workshops were divided into three phases and aimed at an international working team: In addition to theoretical approaches, practical examples for everyday use followed in the multimedia training. For this purpose, the participants were able to include the calendars or to-do lists used in everyday life into the measures, so that recommendations could be geared directly to the individual needs of the participants and rapid implementation in the professional life was made possible. With detailed questionnaires for individual evaluation, the successes achieved were quantified in the third step and prepared for corporate management.

The eight-hour courses each consisted of a wide range of practice-oriented group work, targeted individual training measures and general training. The change in pace and style had a positive effect on the learning experience of the participants, who gave positive feedback to KERN AG Training following the measures. As personal working methods and habits of the participants are critically analysed during time and self-management measures, experience has shown that particularly long-lasting learning effects can be guaranteed, so that the trained employees have clearly improved routines.

In the final joint evaluation of the measures, further cooperation on a monthly basis was agreed upon the basis of conclusive participant feedback in order to achieve a company-wide increase in competence of all teams.
